Cathy Sambo Duncan, M.A.
Following her early work in the schools, as a classroom teacher, Cathy pursued her interest in computers and technology-enhanced student achievement. As Vice President of Kinney and Associates, Cathy has become an expert in data management systems. As a point person in this young, visionary firm, Cathy is part and parcel of a pioneering effort to bring techno-savvy training to schools, across the state, particularly in the Chicagoland area, and even across the world, and into Australia.
The early technology management programs she promoted are common practice in schools today, as schools use technology software to align local curriculum to state testing standards, provide district, school, grade level and student achievement reports, and design and develop local assessments to produce the timely data needed by quality schools.
With over a decade of educational consulting experience, in addition to her expertise in the collection and use of data for improving classroom instruction and student performance, Cathy offers professional development in the areas of differentiated learning, multiple intelligences, nine best practices, closing the achievement gap and integrated curriculum.
