Robin Fogarty & Associates
Professional Development Descriptions
Robin Fogarty is considered an expert in the design and delivery of professional development for the classroom teacher. The hallmark of her work is enabling participants to transfer new concepts and new strategies from the staff room to the classroom. At the end of the day, isn’t that what professional development is all about?
The title of Robin’s dissertation at Loyola University, of Chicago was, From Training to Transfer: The Role of Creativity in the Adult Learner. The instructional books she has authored or co-authored are embedded with strategies that teachers can easily transfer back to their classrooms.
Her titles on leadership, co-authored with Brian Pete, present practical blueprints on how to become more effective staff developer, how to assess and give feedback on professional development and how to facilitate the transfer of new ideas from the staff room to the classroom.
The following 16 descriptions are the core trainings that Robin Fogarty & Associates offer to educators all over the US, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and The Netherlands.
